The best seafood lunch we had in Mexico City! La Veracruzana really offers quality, flavor and service at its peak! Not the first time being here, but the best one indeed. All ceviches, cocktails and and fish filet are exceptionally good; another suggestion, but not for the fainted of heart, are their seafood soups... spicy!! The place is clean, decorated in a very "Mexican coastal" style (from Veracruz). Prices are a little high, but the quality is worth to. Beer and wine selection is average for this type of restaurant. Easy to arrive by car, bus or taxi. Google Maps and Waze will find it without any trouble, so enjoy! Recommended for solo, friends, couples, families and big groups too.

My Mexican friend took me to one of his favorite restaurants, and the food and service was so amazing! Large menu with lots of choices, and everything I order was delicious! You would never had known from the outside of this restaurant how great the food is!

A two minute walk from Insurgentes (Metrobus stop: Sonora). Open 1pm - 8pm daily. On weekdays there are three choices of set menu ranging from 90 - 120 pesos. This includes a glass of fish soup, choice of starter and main and a pudding, The decor and atmosphere is lovely, the staff friendly and the food delicious. As far as I recall, only seafood dishes are served, which is fine by me. Went back a second time at the weekend and ate from the a la carte menu. which was also good and the prices were fair. Highly recommended, Very popular with locals, so you may have to wait, but there are quite a lot of tables.

This a lovely, cozy seafood restaurant. The ceviche was especially good as well as the dessert! I highly recommend this place.
