Description: Since 1983 La Dolce Vita Centro has been consistently rated as one of the top restaurants in Cancun, serving fresh seafood and homemade pasta, owned and operated by Tim Savio and Juan J. Casal. Dolce Vita means "Sweet Life" in Italian and that is how an evening here will make you feel. Our loyal clientele highly recommend the award winning signature dish Boquinete Dolce Vita, a local snapper topped with shrimp and mushrooms, enclosed in puff pastry, and served with lobster sauce. The service is refined and friendly, and dinner specials change daily to match the season. Ourdiverse wine list from around the world complements the dinner. La Dolce Vita is an ideal setting for small groups, business functions, parties, rehearsal dinners and other special events. Dress code: Casual, no cut off shirtsleeves for gentlemen. Private parking and free valet parking service.

All staff treated us as family. Not tourist family but close family. The entres were exceptional. Waitstaff would not rest until we were satisfied. Allergy concerns were cared for. This was the BEST meal we had all week after sampling many restaraunts.
Special requests (to split a plate) where handled with class. The pasta was phenominal and clearly home made. I wish we had visited earlier in the trip so we could have come back. Price with wine was much less than chain tourist traps.

For over 30 years we have been blessed to have La Dolce Vita
as the "go to" restaurant for italian food in Cancun. The "original" downtown location (just into downtown from the hotel zone) is now the only La Dolce Vita - the one called Savio's by La Dolce Vita on the Hotel Zone is not the same, so don't be fooled.
The food is always fresh and we love the garlic bread that they serve. They always also give you a "complimentary"
hor d'oeuvre. We love the pastas and they make and the awesomely delicious eggplant parmigiana. There is so music playing and table cloths on the tables. Everyone who has ever
eaten ate La Dolce Vita goes back again and again.

This maritime Italian restaurant has been in business almost as long as there has been a Cancun. That says a lot for any food establishment, especially in a place where eateries come and go almost by the month. The atmosphere is appropiate and service is exceedingly prompt with no one repeatedly beseeching the diner's approval. All this is good, but means nothing without the excellent food. We've been coming to Cancun each Febuary for over twenty years and eating here once or twice each visit and have never been disappointed.

Savio's La Dolce Vits is a "must" stop for us each year in Cancun. Wonderful meal, ample portions, courteous staff. Great view of the lagoon and charming atmosphere - espiecially if you dine al fresco (oudoors) there. Large place, ample seating iside or out. Easily accessible by city bus (8.5 pesos / person) from Hotel Zone.
