This was out 9th trip to Cozumel and have stayed here every time expect for once. Bellman, Juan Carlos Ku always greets us in a friendly manner and helps us to settle in quickly. If we need anything during our stay, he is right there to attend to our needs. The resort is neat and clean. The food is extraordinary!! We received and upgrade that included the Oceania restaurant and this by far was my favorite.

I was scheduled to stay at Sunscape Sabor and was upgraded to Secrets. Juan Carlos Ku took very good care of us. Adrian, the Social Concierge, was always very helpful and had a good sense of humor which was a necessity with our group. Ha! Ha! Miguel, the bartender at the swim-up bar, was very cordial and really took care of my wife and myself. He is to be commended. The room was immaculate and was much larger than I expected. The bathroom had plenty of room with a tub and a walk-in rain shower. The service was also excellent. The staff is hard working and always took care of all our needs. The Oceana Restaurant had excellent food and fantastic service. The Surf and Turf was out of this world.

We stayed six nights at the Sunscape Sabor for the Cozumel Ironman event. It's beachfront location and grounds give it a true Caribbean feel.
Check in was quick and efficient and, although we arrived at midday, we were given a room straight away. The rooms are basic and would benefit from more storage but being able to step straight out of the room onto a beautiful sandy beach dotted with palm trees was wonderful.
The pool was nice and there were always plenty of sun loungers free. The only issue was that the pool had it's own music, as did the restaurant next to the pool, as did the lobby, as did the bar next to the beach. Therefore if you were at any of these four locations you would be listening to at least two sources of music and more often than not, three!
The beach is stunning and spotlessly clean. The views at sunset are breath taking. The sea is full of life here and lots can be seen when snorkeling or making use of the free Hobie Cats from the beach. The entertainment team could be more proactive in arranging beach volleyball especially as so many guests were there for thier fitness. Once I had mentioned it to Geo from the entertainment team he was on the case, to his credit, and he arranged a few good games. Geo was excellent for his support for the Ironman event. He led the cheering and music and took a genuine interest in the guests that were competing. Both beach bars served good quality branded drinks. The bar staff members were awesome.
The food at all three of the restaurants was of excellent quality. It was really nice to eat and have a such a gorgeous ocean view at the Portofino restaurant. There were however queues to get seated for breakfast and dinner at all times. There were also long lines at the fresh omelette/egg stations. Both issues are attributed to staff numbers. The staff that were there were clearly rushed off their feet and were working so hard to do the best that they could. There was always plenty of choice.
The gym is superb offering a very good CV and resistance workout. There are plenty of machines, free weights and space. There is also a large studio but I didn't see any group workouts or classes.
There is free Internet in the lobby but it drops in and out. If you want Wi-Fi elsewhere you have to pay.
I would definitely stay here again for a short break.

This was my 1st time to Mexico and my 1st time All Inclusive. My wife did a Cancun trip 15 years ago. We have talked about going for years and talked with many friends about All Inclusive trips to Mexico etc. We came across a very good package back in July. Plus we needed passports, insurance etc. Straight flight out of Milwaukee so it’s seemed great. I researched everything I could about Cozumel, the does and don’t for my first time. The reviews I found for hotel were all 5*so we were really excited. The Travel agency all worked out good and the flights were great. Guess never been to Mexico more less Cozumel I really didn’t know what to expect. We got shuttled to Hotel which is on the east side of the Island. We checked in with no issues and got this cute little bungalow 30 yards from the ocean. The room needed work, paint chipping off the floor, broken bathroom window. Our other couples had room problems also, so we all got off on a sour start. The grounds were nice, not a 5* but ok. We scouted around the grounds to see all the restaurants, pools etc. The food was good and just expected for more kinds of fish and seafoods. The outdoor bars had limited domestic beer and domestic liquor , not a 5* but ok. The staff were wonderful and they get a 5*, The weather was perfect about 82 most days and low 70s at night, that was a 5*, sunsets were stunning, the beach was nice but it could of been cleaned up better. Overall it was a very nice trip and guess you get what you pay for. The overall Island adventure was a 5* but the the Hotel, the lack of maintenance to rooms and the grounds I give the hotel 3*-4*.

We came on a group scuba diving trip. The rooms were very varied in regards to size and features but ours was comfortable, quiet and roomy. The employees were all very friendly and none ever failed to greet us even if they spoke no English. Being an all inclusive place, all of the drinks and liquor was included, including beer, soda and bottled water in the room mini-fridge. They also had top shelf liquor at all of the bars and the bartenders poured as much as you liked. What surely helped was tipping them a few dollars whenever you went for drinks. The facility has five restaurants that are open at various times and you can eat at any of them. The food was fairly good but don't expect gourmet. After 3 or 4 days many of us were getting somewhat bored with the offerings and ventured into town for some variety.
The resort works with Dive House for the scuba boat diving. The boats were reasonably equipped and the divemasters were very good. I would have preferred them doing regular role calls instead of just counting heads but they seemed to be able to keep track of everyone. The diving was reasonable with a good amount of sea life and the visibility was generally good but not crystal clear. The currents were a bit tricky and drift diving is an interesting experience. The swim-throughs were spectacular.
While this is not a 5 star resort it is an excellent value for the money and a place that we would want to go back to.
