We stayed four nights at the Blue Bay Blue Diamond Resort. The resort was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, the food was mostly excellent. Our room was well appointed and was so private we felt like we were in a tropical villa. There was an entire wall of sliding glass doors looking out over a stream and trees - it almost felt like we were in a treehouse.
There are a couple of kinks the management is working out, but overall I think they did a great job! In particular, the quality of food and drinks exceeded our expectations. Especially considering the all-inclusive status. No gross buffets - everything was made to order.
I would skip the ceviche, and I recommend you get pesos in smaller denominations before you arrive. The only ATM on the grounds gives dollars, but the front desk will only provide change in pesos at an unfavorable rate.More
