We arrived and the resort and chose Agave Azul for our first dinner. We started with edamame which our waiter told us would be “ the best we’d ever had” and it actually was. It was hot, had grill marks and amazing flavor on the outside of the beans. The seaweed salad was superb as well. Two of us had sushi which was very fresh, my favorite was the double tuna roll. We also had an awesome veggie roll and I had a roll with soft shell crab. Our friends had the vegetable pad Thai and the fried rice with chicken. They call it a different name but it was flavorful and enjoyable according to our friend. The service was excellent and the venue is beautiful. Like all hotel restaurants it is not cheap, but the food, service and venue were top notch so we were very pleased.
