This is the heart of Playa. It is the place to relax in the shade of trees, listen to a concert, see celebrations, Mayan dancers, flying Mayas etc. Or you can simply seat on walls facing the sea and looking at stars and lights of near by Cozumel Island in the evening.

Traveled here for some sight seeing and try our hand at fishing . Beautiful location and crystal clear water. We even saw a gator sunning himself on a small beach on the lagoon side. Left the water after that .lol

Half way from Tulum to Punta Allen this is the drivable part of the peninsula. The beaches are beautiful. The hotels are all small boutique like with a sixties feel.

Remote and special. A world heritage UNESCO site. In a world with species disappearing daily this is worth a visit. Don't take one of those stupid jeep tours.

Beautiful area. Nice area. Good day fishing trip in the mangroves. It would be a great off the grid area to stay. Victor at Boca Paila will put you on the fish.
