This was the 4th time we went to Zamas for lunch in 12 years or so. The setting was great as always. We have always been pleased with the taste and quality of the meals we had...but not this time. We have ordered pollo and arrachera tacos. We have been traveling all around Mexico, even backpacking so of course we went to all kinds of restaurants including some very low key and It has always been good. This was the very first time we couldn't eat what was served to us, both plates tasted really bad, there was a strange unidentified green mixture with the meat. The beef was also way overcooked, almost burned. We left our plates 2/3 full, nobody asked if there was a problem, service was average. On top of that it was the priciest meal we had on this trip, a total rip-off, 725 pesos for 2 tacos plates, 3 lemonades and a guacamole plate as appetizer. Needless to say we will never go back to Zamas.
