Spent one night here on a business trip. My villa was nicely updated and spacious. My only complaint is about the underground parking garage. We had to call the front desk in order to escape the garage. The exit gate would not open for us until we called the desk.

The Westin Riverfront Mountain Villas provides spectacular views of the Beaver Creek Ski area in addition to outstanding customer service, friendly staff, calm and relaxing atmosphere with beautiful decor, good food and drink and a lovely spa. We stayed 7 days and felt fully relaxed and ready to return to work after our week there. It was a great place to vacation and just relax and enjoy the views. We also enjoyed the walking path along the river that was easily accessible from the Westin. The whole experience was exactly what we needed! Highly recommend for other vacationers!

If you plan to exchange your home property to visit at this property, don't expect to be recognized. Check in is at the hotel section and the staff doesn't care if you are a villa owner. Weirdest check in ever. No owner discount for spa services. Parking garage is a nightmare of a maze. Keep on your toes! Rooms are nice. However, the b side to our reservation experienced a sewer smell in their bathroom. As if not vented properly. You are advised not to run more than one hot or warm water appliance at a time.

We don't usually argue with our guests, but Vistana owners do matter, and shame on us for having you feel any other way. Please accept my apology for that, and for the smell, we do hope our team quickly addressed the issue. We do agree the villas are nice, thank you for that compliment. We encourage you to try the larger (A) side of the lock off, or even experience the full two bedroom.

The last time i visited Colorado was during the week of the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster in 1986 so it's been a while to say the least. Was looking forward to this trip with the family. Had some staroptions that I needed to use before expiration at end of 2017 so booked a 2 night at the Villa. Flew in from PNW and landed in Denver. Got a great rate on a car rental from Dollar for a whopping $70 for 3 nights. Originally booked a full size but the forecast called for possible snow so got a free upgrade to a small SUV.

Had lunch in Aurora and drove west on I-70. Even though the interstate travels through 10K or 12K feet above sea level through twists & turns, the roads were very well maintained and had multiple lanes all the way through to Avon, or Vail East.

Arrived at the Villa around 3:45 to check in to our 2 bedroom unit. Went to check in and found out the room was not ready. Staff says rooms not cleaned and must have called housekeeping to start the cleaning process. Told he would call us when room was done. Waited another 30-45 mins. The room was on the first floor of the villa which felt like i was going into a dungeon as it's on what feels like the basement floor. And the room reeked with smell of cigarettes. Asked if another room was available and was told no even though the parking area of the villa was half or more empty so probably BS that there was no other room. Asked that they do something about the cigarette smell and they asked us to vacate room for an hour while they filter out the smell.

Went to the outdoor area where there is a pool and several tubs which are really nice features. also, there is a very nice gym area. Wife mentioned that the steam sauna is one of the nicest she has used even outside of Asia.

Did not use the other facility much as was there for just 2 nights. But I just didn't feel the warmth of the Westin villa service and standard that I'm used to. Service standards felt cold, robotic, unwelcoming, and no one wanted to go out of their way to make a guest feel welcomed. So far, i would have to rank the Westin Beaver Creek on the bottom of the Westin Villas properties we have visited.

Obviously we failed to deliver an exceptional experience. This is always our goal, and as you can see from the multitude of 5 star reviews we typically deliver. Thank you for the compliments about the pool, hot tubs, gym and sauna. We are a no smoking facility, my guess is the smell was likely the snafu with the check-in. If we had a villa to relocate you there is no reason we would not. The off season is a time where we take villas off line to detail them for the upcoming season. Please accept my apology for the service experience, not our standard by any means, not what we want to hear from our customers. Thank you for the valuable feedback.

Stayed at the villas for a week. The rooms are really spacious. The kitchen has most everything you need to cook. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer in the room. There is a grocery store (almost) within walking distance. It you are buying a lot of groceries, you'll probably need a car. Underground self parking is available which is really convenient. We loved playing bocce ball every afternoon. The lobby of the hotel has a nice big two-sided fire place that is a relaxing place to read or enjoy a glass of wine. There are quite a few cute little restaurants within walking distance. We loved Blue Plate and went there twice! The resort is at the bottom of Beaver Creek, so it was nice to drive up there and walk around and see that area.

Thank you so much for the compliments about the villas, they are very spacious and with the kitchen and the washer/dryer it is almost like home away from home. One can literally grocery shop and never have to eat out. I appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback, thank you!
