Have been ordering takeaway from Ying Wah for years up until last night 30/1/18. The fried rice was absolutely tasteless. The beef and vegetables was watery and very bland, more like slices of boiled beef in water with vegetables. Honestly, it was horrible and certainly didn’t taste like the usual beef and vegetables we order. We took the meal back to the restaurant as we couldn't eat it and suggested they try it. We were sure it was a different cook and we asked. The hostess told us the usual cook was away. Regardless, meals should be of the same standard and quality. I've never felt the need to criticize a meal until now. Had they apologized and offered a replacement/complementary meal when their chef returned and put steps in place to not have this happen again I would hold off writing this review. We left our phone number but no call to date. Please improve your customer service and if your chef is absent ensure you have someone who can cook to the same standard. I certainly wouldn’t recommend Ying Wah after this episode.
