I had a great dinner that was reasonably priced here, but I was also on the mosquito's menu. There's a lagoon that has formed just next to the restaurant due to the excessively rainy season last fall and the stagnant water is quite the breeding ground. You won't know you've been eaten alive until the next day. Apply repellant (especially to your legs) and you should be just fine.
