“Charming oasis”

My husband and I spent a month in this charming casita. It was Moroccan inspired and a wonderful haven to relax in after a day of riotous color. The bed is only a double but is extremely comfortable. The little kitchenette is perfect for making a light breakfast or snack. There is a large screen tv with Netflix capabilities and the wi fi works great! The bath only has a shower but there is plenty of hot water and vanity space. The terry robes were an added plus! I was concerned there would not be enough closet space but the armoire had plenty of room with drawers. The bed also has drawer space. The beautiful window gracing the terrace adds beautiful light and the sunsets from this spot were glorious. I also was concerned it might be noisy, but as Bebe the owner said it's as quiet as a tomb. Bebe made sure all our concerns were met and was very attentive to every detail . She even emailed info on San Miguel regularly. We will defiantly be back!

“Working hard to please”
Reviewed 19 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We are renting one of the "casitas" for a month and the owner has been so "on top" of everything, it has been phenomenal. We're not quite here a week yet, but as so often happens with travel, it seems a lot longer already. Previous to our arrival, there was information and responses to concerns we had about what we might need, etc. and there is a "manual" to help us along with how to operate things in the apartment, as well as things that will enhance our stay. Needs are anticipated, the apartment, terrace, communicative devices all up to date. And questions are answered promptly by the owner/management.

“Incredible panoramic views of SMA in a romantic, charming setting.”

We enjoyed a 10 day stay at Casita Topaz. What a hidden gem. Upon entering the front door you walk in to a perfectly manicured oasis. Casita Topaz was everything we hoped for and more! The private views out the back were amazing. The sunsets never got out. In fact, we moved to a different spot in San Miguel and wished badly that we could have finished our stay there. The price for this spot is the best deal ever.

We loved hanging out there. We preferred to cook in the kitchen after picking up fresh fruits and veggies from the local market. It is a short steep walk up and down but we really did enjoy it, and the view made the climb worth it.

The space was well serviced and taken care of by a very friendly staff. It was cleaned daily. Filtered water was stocked and we had no complaints a far as that goes.

Highly recommend the stay here. Could not have been happier!!!

Thank you to Bebe for going out of her way in making our trip to San Miguel so Incredible.

“Great view, but other units would be much better.”
Reviewed 13 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Good location, buses and taxis right outside the door within 2 minutes every time, and very inexpensive. The balcony wasn't too useful given the hard metal chairs. The dome in front greatly hindered the view. The other two units had an improved ambience and much more comfortable seating and much greater view. The place was well equipped for breakfast and lunches, the bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. The cleanliness left a little to be desired. I had to ask for the sheets to be changed after six days.

“Beautiful Apartment - Charming City”

We stayed in Casita Topaz for a week in early April. High up on a hill there is a lovely view from the balcony. The apartment looks just as it does in the pictures. Perfect for a couple. Comfortable bed and lovely furnishings. San Miguel is a charming city, pretty and full of history. The streets leading up to the apartment are very steep. Navigating downhill is OK but we opted for cabs (which are very cheap) to come home. There is a noisy rooster who lives in the neighborhood though. If I could find him, he would go in the stewpot!
