“Great cottage and a fantastic location. Highly recommended.”

We stayed here for a weekend break and we thought the whole area was great. The cottage is big enough for two and the sea shore is less than 200yds from the front door. The cottage has a good sized TV, nice kitchen and comfy living room.

We had great fun feeding the baby swans and ducks, spotting different wader birds and counting all the rabbits that play on the local meadow. I miss feeding the swans already. The local A55 coast road is also worth a mention with its tunnels, bridges and cliff side drives, almost like a computer game.

The owners let us take our parrot which is a must for us and were there to meet us on arrival and made us feel welcome. All in, we had a nice time.

The only downs for us were the weather (terrible) and the local Indian takeaway was pretty awful in all honesty.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to review our cottage, we very proud of it and try to look at it in the eyes of our guests, adding things that we think would improve people's stay. We are so pleased you had a good time here in Llanfairfechan, it really is a perfectly placed spot for exploring the lovely North Wales coast. Unfortunately, I can't do much about the weather, believe me I truly wish I could make the sun shine every day! As for the Indian, we don't eat Indian ourselves at all but a handful of people who have stayed with us have told us that it's quite good, and that the Chinese opposite is not - so I'm hoping you just hit it when they were having a bad day. I will keep an eye on that though and if negative comments about it continue, I will mention to people that it's not too good when they arrive, so thank you for letting us know. Sue

Hi, thanks so much for taking the time to review our cottage. It's such a shame when someone becomes ill and you are away from home, at times like that you just need your own bed! We do appreciate your lovely comments, and hope to welcome you back some time. Sue

“A great stay!”
Reviewed 27 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This cottage is a little gem! Perfect for two people, with its light airy kitchen, cosy sitting room and comfy bed. Our hosts Sue and Michelle were very helpful if we needed them, or left us to our own devices. A great base for exploring North Wales and beyond, with road and rail close by. We won't hesitate to book Bron Dalar again, when we continue our Welsh odyssy.

Hi Andrea, thank you for your review of our cottage and we are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We do try to assess people who arrive briefly, as some like to chat at every opportunity and some really just want to be left to get on with things in their own way - we simply want our guests to have a great time and hopefully come back again. As you say, the cottage is small but it's just right for a couple of people, and hopefully contains everything you need to make your holiday with us perfect. We do hope to welcome you here again sometime. Sue
