First off, this is not a luxury resort. I almost gave it 3 stars but then I added one back in because it isn’t really advertised as one and I usually stay at luxury resorts so I have high expectations.
Food here is pretty good. Especially the weekend buffet and the fresh empanadas.
Pool is nice but there isn’t some sexy Infiniti pool overlooking the ocean like you will find at The Riu Palace or higher end hotels.
Rooms are dated, traditional, and could use some updating but they do the trick. Our jacuzzi was broken the entire stay and even two maintenance visits couldn’t fix it.
This would be great for families. My favorite part was the easy, free access via shuttle to the sister resort, Sunset Bonito which was more luxurious, even better food. The location on this hotel is better though.
I came with a group of girls and we had a great time. More
