My Girlfriend owns time share at this Resort and she was not kidding when she called it Fablous because it is. As you driving into this massive place its guarded so not anyone can just get into it. It literally took my breath away with how big and beautiful it was. The Grounds are very well kept and beautiful. When you walk into the main lobby you will feel like you are walking into a medieval castle. Its super clean. The rooms are very clean and the staff was very sweet. the resturants are delish. Especially Frida. The food it top notch. The bars are fun. The Sky pool is amazing. the view you see from being at the top point of the hotel is incredibile. But since this hotel in on the Pacific ocean you cant go in the ocean water but if you stay at this hotel you can use their sister hotels the rose and Blanco and i highly recommend doing just that. free shuttle to each hotel. The Rose and Blanco are right on Medano beach where cabo town is and its def. alot of fun. the sea of cortez is amazing to swim in. I loved this hotel bc we had alot of options picking from the pool and beach. We had a relaxing time laying poolside for the beginning of our stay than we did the beach for the rest of our stay. I cant wait to come back and vacation there again!!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor to really see the sunrise/ sunsets each day and a room with a jazzu...

We had the whole family there this January. The setting is absolutely magnificent. The property is sprawling, but we preferred walking to taking the golf carts around. The pools were lovely, though occasionally crowded. The Bistro was reasonable, other restaurants were pricey, but all the food was excellent.

The golf carts come all the time. We stayed in the presidential suite and hit Costco for stuff. The suite is enormous and had a 4 person hot tub on deck with lounge chairs and large patio table set. The sunsets are beautiful! The sky pool is rimless and a real beauty. We took the free shuttle into their sister resort in town and then walked to nearby restaurants. WE GO EVERY YEAR!

I think the collective reviews about Pueblo Bonita Sunset Beach on here pretty well say it all.
The hotel is pretty spectacular (the grounds, the views and I think the rooms), the service in the restaurants for the most part are woefully below standard (could be because of the addition of All Inclusive), the timeshare salesman are nothing short of annoying. Despite all of this, I have to say that I would return. A couple of things that I can add...
1. If tempted by renting a car and driving to Todos Santos - DONT DO IT! At least not in the immediate future. 3/4 of the 70 km road is under construction, and nothing short of dangerous at this time.
2. Don't take the All Inclusive for any longer than 3 days. There are far too many dining options in Cabo to restrict yourself to only utilizing the restaurants in the hotel.
3. Further to the above point - go to Mi Casa in town. Well worth the taxi ride.
4. Utilize the kitchen, buy groceries, at least for breakfast. There is nothing better than sitting on that balcony watching the whales and dolphins in the morning.
5. Tip the housekeeping staff, they work so hard on a daily basis. Loved all the animal towel s and flowers left in the room.

Room Tip: If you want to get closer to the pool or the beach ask, the front desk staff are very accommodating...

We have been comming here for a few years. We like the fact that this resort is not on busy Medano beach. The free shuttles to the sister resorts in town save on expensive taxis to town now 120 pesos which today is less than $10 US currency. The lobby is giving 13 pesos to the dollar this week. At the banks in town you can get 13.5 Pesos or about $5 extra for every $100 you exchange.
A previous reviewer lamented the fact of few beach chairs. he will be happy to know that the resort is in the process of building 5 new beach areas to match the one that is presentantly on the beach. probably be done in a year. Nothing happens fast in Mexico. There is a new Ice cream / coffee shop just before you enter the check in bldg.. that area will also eventually (Who knows when at least a year maybe more) have a new Laundry and Market place with a Chinese restaurant.
The incredible views from all rooms makes this a wonderful place to enjoy Cabo.
I did a little surfcasting with fishing equipment that I keep in Cabo and had the thrill of beaching a sierra and a ray. Nice to watch the sunrise from the beach in the morning. The best views will be on the higer floors. All the buildings are nice. Lots of pools (6) Blds 40 and 41 always seem to have plenty of loungers whenever you get to the pool. All pools also have food and drinks available.

Room Tip: The rooms on the higher levels of any building give the best view.
