Stayed for Long weekend Dec 2107. My 1st time to Cado, Wife’s 3rd time. I found this hotel on the internet. I was searching all Cabo area All Inclusive properties .My son stayed last year at a very nice All Inclusive Hotel 15-20 minutes from the Cabo Marina. He said it was very nice but the Buffet was a very long walk and that next time he would look for something closer to town to ease that hassel. So I searched and Sandos Finisterra sort of jumped out. I read about the Stones staying there in 1983. It Seemed to be a very old well maintained Classic property that was Very Unique , built in 1968. I was so right. What a Beautiful property but not with the Vegas modern Flashy decor. It felt very right. The Staff is the reason. You have read it and heard it before, You are like family. We’ll you are at Sandos Finisterra.
Right off the Airport was a very nice surprise. Beautiful and clean, Friendly people everywhere. Nice MayaLand shuttle that turned out to be a private 40 minute auto ride. Welcome at the Hotel was nice glass of Champagne brought to us by Estella. After check in, we sat down with her and spent some nice time looking over the Property via maps and presentations of what all was in our package. Our Room was just as advertised . Beautiful Ocean and pool views and all we would need in a room as to comfort. Irving took great care of us and got our TV up and going, later bringing us our room service order. The Food , other than room service, was tops. Breakfast Buffet every AM was very good at Don Diego’s. Omelets and fresh eggs on the grill were the best. There are you tube videos of Don Diegos that I watched before our trip, so it was fun enjoying the food in real time and eating it. Pool service is a 10+.Edgar must walk miles every day. The Agave is fun. Tacos and fun food during the day and then a Steak House at night. Diego , Ray, and Richardo became our best buds during the day. At night Pedro gave us 1st class dinner service as well as amazing Filet so tender. Our other favorite Dinner was at Emiliano’s Osteria,The food here is enough just to go back to the hotel for. The Lamb Osso Buco is the best we ever have had. Miguel Angel and our waiter Alberto took great care of us. They sang Happy Birthday pretty darn good as well to me. I also have to mention Francisco in the Lobby Bar. One of the nicest guys ever.I have to also give the pool Pizza bar raves.Really good personal size with some of the best crusts ever! We caught a few shows. Michael Jackson is one not to miss as well as the Rock in Roll Band, Amazing talent. The Cup Cake is cute but it seemed very under utilized. Great treats, coffee, and a View!. We walked to town twice which is very easy via the Marina. You just have to say no thanks like 20 times at least to the fishing and tour boat guys.We loved the Hotel and I would return. So many guests we met have been coming back , some for 14-17 years. We had planned to maybe change rooms after we got to the hotel. Stay a couple in our Ocean View and then move to a Casita with the Marina view. After being there with a great 7th floor room with direct bridge walkway to the city side, we decided just to keep our great views. Tip: Request a mid-central building hotel room, ocean facing room as close to the 7th floor as you can.Ours looked right down on the 3 pools. Expedia really hits the Property hard: Ratings do change often but as I write this today #25 of 71 Hotels traveler ranking and 48 of 71 Best Value.Value’s can really change with the given day and month vs. the competition I don’t think All Inclusive’ s should be lumped in with ALL the other hotels. With just Inclusive’s it ranks 8th of 14 in Cabo area.
