Lovely, modern restaurant. We had a romantic table for two on the little patio facing the beach. The floor is sand, so keep that in mind when choosing your shoes. The seafood was perfectly cooked, and I loved the Juicy margarita. I would’ve given 5 stars if I hadn’t found shards of shells in my appetizer. Staff were very pleasant and attentive, however, no discount was offered for the shells in my food that I nearly cracked my teeth on.

18% gratuity is added to the cheque. We left payment on the table and the server told us they don’t accept cash. Wait, what?! They accepted the cash because we didn’t bring our credit card as we were staying at a nearby resort.

Side note:
Our visit here was during Spring break week for Canadians and the resort we were staying at was bustling and crowded. When we walked into the Vidanta Grand Mayan, we were amazed at how beautiful and modern the public areas are. But it was totally deserted! I just read the reviews and found out why. It’s a shame, because we were considering booking this resort for our next vacation based on what we saw. Guess we’ll keep looking!

Dear is1groovugal,

Thank you, for your wonderful feedback. We are so happy to know that you have a great time with us, and it’s great to hear that you loved ambiance, but we regret to hear that you weren’t happy with your food. In the property we have no cash policies in every venue, this is to have more control but we take every comment seriously and have passed your notes along to the team to make sure that every client that we receive knows this. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back.

Best regards,

Located im the Vidanta Hotel in San Jose del Cabo is this restaurant. To be truthful is just an average place with expensive drinks. It was spring break and the place was empty. They need to understand they are in Cabo and not in LA or Las Vegas. Will definitely won’t go back

Thank Juan M

Dear Juan, M,
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to know that you considered us as an Average place. We definitely want to be your first option when it comes to Mexican food here in San Jose del Cabo. Our restaurant has the most beautiful decoration, ocean view and ours service it's outstanding. We will consider all your comments to improve and make us better in the future. Hopefully you change your mind and come back with us in the future. Please let us know. Best,
