Try the Onion Soup, try the Mussels, try the Pan seared Salmon. All of the food at this restaurant was excellent. We rarely return to the same place during a one week vacation, but this restaurant was worth it. Highly recommended.

The French theme worked out great and the staff was friendly. This is located in the Hyatt Ziva and part of the all inclusive meals The food was good, but i was shocked about the prices for the wines. I had expected that there would have been some more wine choices that did not cost an arm & a leg as wine was one of the selling points of this place when we looked on the web site.

If you're lucky enough to have Juan or Alejandro as your waiters - you'll be in for a fabulous time - these guys are amazing, and so is the food here.... get dressed up, it's worth it!!

If you know anything about my posting history you will know that Ian incredibly honest and for the most part complimentary! This is one time that the compliments will not be coming!
We are staying at the Hyatt Ziva for the first time and this hotel is fantastic but please DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME BY GOING TO BON VIVANT!!!!!
We were so excited, we got dressed up as we'd saved this restaurant for our last night as a special treat (my husband's family are French)
Bob Vivant is an adults only restaurant and touted to be the creme da la creme of places to eat at the Hyatt Ziva but they are kidding themselves!!!
It all started well with the appetizers and it went downhill dramatically.
It's fair to say there is nothing French about the restaurant nor the menu. Most importantly the FOOD IS NOT WORTH EATING. The Beef Tenderloin was dry & chalkie (despite looking semi pink), the potatoes were hard and inedible we each had a couple of mouthfuls of the meal and left the rest!
The creme brûlée was like an uncooked soufflé, we didn't eat that either and our friend had a chocolate lava cake that had no lava - it was just a chocolate cake and not great.
The staff asked us how the meal was and we had politely shared with them that it hadn't been what we had hoped for. About 5 minutes later we were asked to leave and go to the bar down the hall for a glass of wine that we had asked for 20 minutes prior. ( I guess this was the final insult)
Our opinion is that they are so carried away with trying to be posh that they have lost sight of what they need to be which is good, simple, rustic and authentic French Food.
Our tip: go to Dozo for teppanyaki it's fresh, cooked to your liking right in front of you and the staff are lovely!!

Lovely restaurant and great service. Jorge was our waiter and he was very attentive. I appreciated his impeccable service and even learned that he was very familiar about where I live in the U.S. We chatted about how small the world really is.
