Very good hotel with just a few little things to improve!
Superb staff, welcoming and eager to make your stay enjoyable: I have allergies and I like a bright, comfortable and very quiet room. Martha let me explore the hotel until I found the perfect one (room 336).
Room is spacious, lovely, worthy of NH Collection, with very comfortable firm beds, lovely linens, large modern bath, sound proof windows, Nespresso coffee maker, free water every day, great Wifi, etc
Location is perfect
There is a small but quite adequate pool with lounge chairs on the roof, a lovely gym and a vast business center.
Room service is quite good, and the restaurant has great international food. The buffet breakfast is outstanding as usual in NH hotels: great freshly squeezed juices ( guava, vegetables green juice, etc, etc), great omelet and fajitas station, salads, 2 meat dishes, 1 fish dish, cakes, creme brulee, fruit, and all the usual stuff. Would make an ogre happy!
The only thing I found really annoying were the bright little lights from the fire detection system on the ceiling flashing every 20 seconds. I am still staying at the hotel and will call maintenance to see if they can cover it up for me.
The smell of the cleaning products was also unpleasant to me, but it subsided after airing the room.
All in all, this hotel is a great find, very well managed and a good deal!
Thank you every one!

Room Tip: Room 336 great. faint humming noise from the a/c system. Make them cover the flashing lights over t...

It's all about the location. And frankly it is worth the stay if for that alone - should other hotel options in the historic center be booked as was the case for us on a spur of the moment trip.

BUT. You get what you paid for. The modern vibe of the minimalist clean cut lines is a little faded. We were charmed by the front desk staff. And the alacrity with which the maintenance staff responded to our initial room problems was commendable. But the shower was broken, the a/c irreparably anemic and the drains terminally slow. The towels were old and threading. And that was our intro to our room. If you like little furniture in your room, then you'd like this. We did enjoy the comfortable beds, though.

It was ok, but we may seek other options next visit.

I have visited this hotel both for business and vacation. The location is great! only 1 block from the main square (centro histórico). You can walk to many atractions and restaurants in the area.
Rooms are very nice as well as the attention provided by the hotel's staff.

I spent a night due to business visit. The hotel is in a privileged location just at downtown. The facilities are better than average and the staff is friendly. The room was too noisy as you get all street noises available in a busy downtown. So for a short business or "stay awake" visit..I guess is ok.

NH is a modern hotel just two blocks west of the Zocalo, no local color, but all of the modern conveniences. We popped for a few extra pesos and booked a junior suite, which turned out to be perfect since we both came down with head colds and spent more time in the room than usual during our six day visit. Room service and inhouse restaurant meals were just fine, as were the breakfasts, but there are a half dozen excellent restaurants between the hotel and the Zocalo including Amalfi Pizzeria with a wood burning oven The hotel staff were all lovely people who spoke excellent English, but made you think you spoke Spanish. There is a small but very nice rooftop pool that we did not use in January. If you stay there, don't fail to stick your head in St Augustin Church across the street whose huge, but stark interior is quite a contrast to the Baroque character of most other Puebla churches. In a previous visit we stayed in a small hotel with much more local color and loved it too, you pay your money and take your choices.
