We stumbled across the farm by accident as we searched for a B&B for a one night stay. It is down a long narrow Cornish lane but worth the drive. Angela is the owner and the home is on a large dairy farm (about 700 milking cows) so there is a certain rural aroma outside the house!.
Everything inside is immaculate and pleasantly furnished, and our room had a 4 Poster bed as a bonus. It looks like they have maybe 4 or 5 rooms that they let. It is about a mile to anywhere else so all you will hear at night is the occasional cow. Beautiful views from our room out over the fields added to the experience. We had a wonderful cooked breakfast with four other guests and a pleasant chat as well. It was Brexit vote day so there were some interesting viewpoints. An added bonus was that Angela accepts credit cards which is unusual for B&Bs in our experience and helps avoid ATM fees. We notice that all the reviews are excellent and we are happy to maintain that record. Superb.

Pennatillie Farm was one of our favourite places that we have stayed in for bed and breakfast. It is situated down a long road, but it is still easy to find and there is plenty of parking.
We were greeted cheerfully by James, who was busy on their working farm, then warmly greeted by Angela, and shown the spacious guest lounge and dining room before being shown to our room for two nights, aptly named 'Eden'.
The room was amazing - very spacious and contained a large four poster bed, table and chairs, plenty of storage units, a television, dvd player and a large ensuite shower room. Aswell as all of this, the room contained many other little personal touches including: tea, coffee, hot choc, a huge tin of assorted biscuits, shower gels and other toiletries, hairdryer, iron, extra pillows etc.To top it all off, there was even a bowl of quality street chocs, topped up each day, which was a lovely added touch!
The room, and indeed the whole house, was spotlessly clean.
Unless the local owl hooting disturbed you, (which it most certainly didn't!) then the farmhouse and surounding area was extremely quiet and peaceful, even though this is a working farm.
Breakfast was superb; we both had the full english but there were plenty of other options on offer which other guests were enjoying just as much as us. There was also a good selection of cereals, fresh fruit, toast etc and tea coffee, fruit juice too.
Nothing was too much trouble, both at breakfast and during our stay. Angela happily froze our icepacks for our daytime picnics and gave us recommendations and maps for local resturants too.
We are already looking forward to our next visit as we will definitely be back!

The hospitality, helpfulness and generosity of the host, the welcoming atmosphere and the decor, the very generous breakfast and the exceptional attention to detail of every extra comfort made this B&B the best we had during our 10 day stay in Cornwall. Angela went out of her way to make us feel at home and was very helpful in every way. A must stay in Cornwall and a very handy location.

It is no exaggeration to say that the accommodation reaches the standard of a 5 star hotel. A generous breakfast is provided using high quality local ingredients. Angela is very welcoming and she has a great knowledge of the local area and is happy to advise on where to go and how to get there. The farm is conveniently located for visiting most of Cornwall including Padstow, Newquay, Truro and the coastal path.

Angela, the owner, made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. After we unpacked we went into the lounge and found a lovely cream tea waiting for us. The room was excellent in every way.
If you've stayed in a B & B and thought why hasn't this or that been put in the room well you'd no need to worry here, Angela has thought of everything, from a corkscrew to a cooler that can be taken out with you to keep your drinks etc cool while you tour Cornwall. The cleanliness was exceptional. If you decide to stay don't be put off by the track leading to the farm as you'll be more than rewarded with an excellent B & B at the end of it. Thank you Angela, you are a credit to your industry.
