Selini, is an amazing home with a wonderful view. A very nice place, inside and outside!
The hospitality was great!
We felt like home..
I also really liked the village, Ag. Georgios, which is not very popular, so everything was quiet and in peace...
We had a wonderful time at Selini and we are looking forward to come back again and spent more time!
The house is very well equiped. We stayed there with 2 families and the fact that 2 bedrooms are downstairs and 2 upstairs gave us enough privacy. Hiking is a dream, starting next to the house. Easy to visit many beautiful villages in the area. The communication via the management is excellent and so is the girl Lina who does the check in and check out. They all speak perfect English and are very helpful with tips! I have nothing negative to say re this rental. Except maybe that the “ organic “ garden should not be taken too seriously.
Villa Selini was just a dream come true! Our 3-day stay there was an experience by itself. It was highlighted by the scerenity of the landscape, the beautiful and well-furnished villa, the hospitality of the owner, Stathis, and the balance between nature and feeling 'at home'. I hope I could return to this little 'heaven on earth' spot sometime soon.
Villa Selini is located in one of the most amazing places in Pelion. The house itself was better than what we could imagine, winning our hearts from the moment we arrived with the lavender and the chocolate on our pillows, with a generally very friendly atmosphere, beautiful decoration and a breathtaking view. The owner, Stathis, always there for everything we needed, prepared for us lovely breakfast meals and dinners for our yoga retreat, and even joined us at our practices!
I did't want to leave, so i am definately going back very very soon!
Don't miss out on the experience!
We arrived in the dark to the Villa in Pelion so we didn’t see the views till the morning as we walked onto the patio for Breakfast. They are nothing short of spectacular. The green hills rolling down to meet a crisp blue sea it feels like you have the whole hillside to yourself, even though the town of Velos is only a short drive at the base of the mountain.
The house has everything you’d want, kitchen, comfy beds, sofas, TV and Wifi however you’ll spend most of your time out on the veranda soaking up the sun and enjoying a drink in the hammock if you can get your mate out of it first.
On the second evening we had a really pleasant dinner with the owners a short walk away at a local restaurant. We learnt a lot about Greece and the surrounding area.
I’d say getting to see the sunset on the patio was a highlight after a long day of cycling and lazing on the beach.
We didn’t get a chance to experience all the nightlife Velos had to offer but we ate dinner at around midnight in a small traditional restaurant just off the main strip and the party was still going with people out enjoying a beer in the barmy evenings.
I would recommend this villa highly to anyone.
