We were lucky to start the spring season staying here with our family. If you're looking to refresh your body and soul, it could be the place for you. Completely renovated country house, with style and green architecture. Wonderful hosts Emanuela and Massimo brought a country retreat concept to life. If you're a cyclist or trail runner, looking to climb and ride in unbelievable scenery, I couldn't imagine a better place. Ride like a climbing animal on the route of Giro d Italia, then relax by the pool to heal your legs and eyes in the famous Italian hillside views.

My husband and I stayed here for a week in June and didn’t want to leave. Beautiful surroundings, very comfortable room with fantastic views, relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and excellent hosts. A perfect place to be and explore the wonderful treasures and pleasures of Emilia Romagna.

First there is the location: stunning. Then there are the owners Emanuela and Massimo who are warm and welcoming. The buildings/rooms are beautifully done and with every modern convenience while still being warm and charming, and the meals are delicious. We only stayed two nights in October, but it was so restful and aesthetically pleasing the positive effects lasted far longer. If you are looking for a countryside experience you cannot do better.

My wife and I stayed three nights during September, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were warmly received by Massimo and Emanuela. On certain nights of the week you can reserve a table for dinner and that's what we did for our first night. The food was delicious, and in fact turned out to be the best of our whole two week stay in Italy; I had to pace myself early on, knowing there were more courses to come! We also enjoyed wine from grapes grown on this very farm. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean and the view from the window was great. Our only regret was that we were only able to experience one of the three breakfasts due to two early mornings (one of which was a trip to the airport), because the breakfast we did have was wonderful including fruit and fruit products from their own farm. If we return to the Emilia Romagna area, this is where we will want to stay again, because we highly recommend Podere Prasiano for their very high level of hospitality.

Seriously...there are so many choices in Emilia Romagna...but Podere Praisiano is nearly without peer. You can look but it's hard to find a place where the pictures are beautiful but still manage to do it no justice. Believe all the outstanding reviews, and trust the photos. It is totally worth the hype.
If you have never stayed in an agriturismo, this place will make you loyal in a heartbeat. From the long, twisty drive to the greetings from Emanuela and watchful presence of dog Eddy, you have found something special. The views are spectacular, especially if you get to watch a storm roll through - on a clear day you can see for miles. The rooms are comfortable - an intangible, hard-to-find quality in Europe. From the hand-painted linens, eco-friendly toiletries, and fresh flowers in your room daily, to the great water pressure in the shower and amazing smell of balsamic vinegar aging...I cannot truly express how special the ambience is.
Now the food...the FOOD! Isn't that why we all travel? Well, you simply cannot miss a meal here if it's available. We're talking life-long regret. Emanuela and her small brigade produce incredible, local, fresh, slow food that is beyond compare. Breakfasts daily are overwhelmingly abundant and the local yogurt and the farm's own concentrated fruits are fantastic. Dinner though, is divine. Massimo knows his wines, and is great to chat with while you choose. If you're lucky enough to have Frederica serve you and to see her passion for the cuisine, you will know you must return to Podere Praisiano. An amazing family, a wonderful home, outstanding views, and the best representation of the hospitality and warmth of Emilia Romagna.
Do whatever you have to, to stay here - I have been back less than a month and am already planning my return.

Room Tip: Views out back are best
