What a fantastic place to go for a ski trip. We do an annual guys ski trip and have been to all the big name resorts and this one is right up there with the best of them. Great ski terrain, bars and the Lodge was great as well. Very nice staff and great quality food.
We will be back.

Nicely arranged room. My only issue would be the lighting in the bathroom for the mirror is not very good, for a guy no big deal, for a woman.....big deal. Food was good, skiing was fantastic Sunshine always has the best snow.

Thank you for choosing to stay at Banff's only ski-in, ski-out hotel, the Sunshine Mountain Lodge and for sharing your experience with us and others.

We do pride ourselves on having fantastic skiing and riding conditions and I am very happy to hear that we could accommodate you on that front.

See you next time!

I stayed with my two young sons and the ease and convenience, as well as the great organization, made the stay an effortless ski experience.

We had a basic room and it was comfortable and already set up for three occupants.

We were a little disappointed with the bar food but there were other options for eating.

Other than a bit of noise from the outside later into the evening (our suite had a great view over the main lodge area, but is also in close proximity to the loading bays where skidoos and trucks were often backing up late into the night), this room was just terrific. The view of Goat's Eye Mountain right from our fireplace/sofa area was the perfect way to start the morning with a coffee.

We were there for our anniversary, and we will definitely be back.

Happy Anniversary!

Thanks for choosing to spend your special day with us at the ski-in, ski-out Sunshine Mountain Lodge.

The Goat's Eye Suite is a very special room-- just right for a special occasion and you're right, it's the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of Joe.

We hope to see you again very soon, Sean.

We stayed on a Saturday night and this time we were in a de luxe room, on the ground floor of the wing. Last time we stayed we were in more basic accommodation on the top floor and there really is no comparison, so spend the extra cash as I promise, you get more for your money.

Our de luxe room was spacious and there were two armchairs positioned around a very warm fire, with views directly onto the slopes and the Standish chairlift. A huge, wall mounted, flat screen tv was on the wall directly opposite the bed and we throughly enjoyed snoozing to a movie! The bathroom was clean and well planned with a soaker tub, overhead shower, separate wc and lots of clean, good condition towels.

The hot tub in this hotel is hot and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Not to be missed.

In the evening, the hotel offers tobogganing on the slope opposite the hotel which will keep your youngsters happy for hours (and those who really should know better too! )

Free wi-fi with good connection available in the guest bedrooms.

We had dinner in The Eagle's Nest. There was one server looking after at least 10 tables and doing an outstanding job. Well done Jaime, your service was exceptional.

Room Tip: de luxe rooms have a higher standard of furnishings and fittings throughout.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review of the Sunshine Mountain Lodge, Fiona.

It sounds like you stayed in a Premiere room which is located in the West Wing-- an excellent choice for a luxurious winter getaway.

I will send your kind words to Jaime from the Eagle's Nest.

See you again soon!
