The room was nice, beds were comfy. Coffee and fridge were nice to have. Hot tubs open to midnight sky was amazing. There is a sauna but didn't get to try it as we only stayed overnight. Breakfast was included the next morning, which was tasty and well taken care of. On the heart of Banff Ave so very good location.

Room tip: 237, looking on to the parking lot, but the front door opening to an open walkway to the hot tub was nice.

My wife and I spent four nights here
Did not start well
Firstly there was no lift - judging by other reviews it has been under repair for some weeks - we had five cases and were on the third floor but they did supply a staff member to help take the cases to our room
Secondly on our first night my wife had to complain several times about the noise from the pool and from a group of around 10 teens running through the hotel walkways and up and down the stairs. This was around 9.00pm and should have been controlled better by the hotel staff

The room was large and comfy - yes the bathroom sink is outside the bathroom but that didn’t bother us at all

Our room had two large TVs, one in the lounge and one in the bedroom
There is also a nice coffee shop attached to the hotel
The complimentary breakfast was pretty basic and not particularly hot, the staff were friendly though
The laundry room is a bit of a joke, very small room with ONE washing machine and one dryer. Not nearly enough for a hotel this size
Our room had a microwave, the only one that did according to the guy who helped take our luggage to the room
There is free undercover parking, in late October there was always plenty of spaces but in the summer months, parking spots may be hard to get

All in all a good place to stay just don’t expect five star

Hello Trevor,
Thank you very much for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your room, our location and the Whitebark Cafe.
I apologize, our elevator did have to go through a rather significant repair when it broke, which was a lengthy process but it is nearly completed.
We have never received any negative feedback regarding our guest laundry room, thank you, it is something that we will be sure to discuss.
Thank you,

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Although the elevator was out of service it was an amazing stay! Anytime we met staff on the stairs they all offered assistance with whatever we were carrying. We have already booked for May again with this hotel and will continue to go there, such fantastic staff and wonderful fresh tasty breakfast! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Room tip: We enjoy the 3rd floor, view of Banff Avenue!!

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The desk staff are friendly and very helpful. Our room on the 3rd floor was huge, with two double beds and a balcony. The hotel is near the top of Banff Ave, near the shops and restaurants. Breakfasts are adequate.

Only stayed one night. Don't know whether it's out of season or just my bad luck but the elevator was broken and I was on the 3rd floor. The lounge was closed for cleaning so there was no food. My hairdryer didn't work but I always carry one. The hotel told us we could park out entertainment buses on property but a neighbor complained and we had to move about 6 blocks away. That made me walk in the cold drizzling rain. Not happy!!!! The rooms have no a/c. That must be common in the area. The rooms were fairly nice and the bed was comfortable. This just was not my night for relaxation.

Hello Kriby,
Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that the elevator was down during your stay. We do only have our Whitebark Cafe at our hotel, the lounge is a sitting area which does not serve any food.
We do offer parking for our guests, as we are in a residential area there was a noise complaint made by a neighbor in regards to loud generators running on the buses, I apologize as this was out of our control.
We do hope you were able to relax during your journey.
Thank you,
Monique Hendrickx - Business Development Manager
