From the initial booking communication was perfect, cabins were booked, meals were pre arranged and deposits paid.
We arrived quite late and we only had half an hr to order dinner as cabin service ended at 8.00 that night.
We ordered and this beautiful meal was duly delivered by the manager at the agreed time.
Move forward a day and it was a different story, placed an order for the cabin, had a member of staff come over some 30 mins later after we had put out 3 yr old to bed that we needed to alk back over to the restaurant to pick up our meal as they were too busy to bring it over even tho they had just walked over to tell us ?..?..?
Apart from the food issues, the two different cabins we stayed in were lovely, we had a bit of an issue in the first one where the log fire was slowly filling the room with smoke and we had to leave the door open for a good hour afterwards to allow it to clear, but all of our clothes now smelt of smoke.
Lovely cabins lovely stay with a few reservations.

The lodge is located just off the road and easy to find. The cabin was very rustic but comfortable and was stocked with firewood and matches, the fire was made up on our arrival.
The food was very good, we both had Bison steak for our main and it was well presented and filling.
The waitress neglected to inform us of the specials that were available, this was a pity as there was a dish that we both would have tried.
You are ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area and staff were knowledgeable 're parking for Lakes Louise and Moraine.
The lodge itself was very cosy and atmospheric and a good range of local craft beer is available, served in chilled glasses.
We both enjoyed our stay here in cabin 7 and l would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. Cabin 3 was really cosy and nicely decorated. Had amazing dinner in restaurant. Really interesting combination of flavours. Restaurant was the front porch of an old log cabin that has been enclosed. Really lovely. If you are travelling in the Banff area just go to Storm Mtn. Can't go wrong. There are also many excellent hiking trails within a few km.

Charming, spotless cabins and wonderful food nestled within the spectacular beauty of Banff National Park! My family of 3 stayed for one night - loved that there was no wifi or TV and everyone (especially the teenager) had to unplug.

We stayed at the Storm Mountain Lodge for 6 nights. The cabin was cozy and had everything you need. The staff was very nice and focused on customer service and your experience. We had breakfast and dinner at the lodge multiple times and the food is excellent. We highly recommend Storm Mountain Lodge for a getaway into the mountains of Canada.
