Another fine meal. Food very fresh and we'll presented. Service very good. Restaurant was full which is totally understandable. Will be back. Kimchi was awesome.

We were driving through Kamloops and stopped by for their lunch specials. Jacobs is located downtown so we had to pay for street parking. We started with the takoyaki appetizer - deep fried dough balls (5) with pieces of octopus. This is a traditional dish in Japan and we were surprised to see it on the menu. The takoyaki was seasoned with sauce, mayo, and bonito flakes. The lunch special included miso soup, panko crusted shrimp and vegetable tempura, and choice of chicken - teriyaki or fried cutlet and beef, etc. The lunch special also comes with rice, side salad, and stir fried vegetables. This lunch was filling and satisfying and got us going again on our road trip.

Excellent food, quick service. Tempura basketm 2 shrimp, 2 veggies for appy. Had a kabe udon hot pot - delicious. Hubby had seafood udon also very good. $50 for everything. Great decor, using original brick and ceiling. Lots of locals getting take out while we were there.

Discovered this restaurant last winter. Food is fantastic, Ramen spicy soup is my favourite. This has become our go to restaurant, staff is friendly and the atmosphere excellent.

Used Korean metal chopsticks for the first time with hot noodles. I don't thing metal cools down hot soup. I thought the lunch was very good. I had the mild ramen with the gyoza and deep fried rice roll combo. A little on the expensive side, but where are you going to find an authentic place like this in Kamloops. The green tea was nice addition, but had to asked as they will serve you ice water. Probably a local thing.
