this was a fun round of golf for an average player.. not much trouble.. some length with many tees choices. greens were tough. did not lose a ball as mishits were rarely out of play. lunch was great. play time at 915 am was a bit long 4 1/2 hours. public course almost played like private

Excellent practice areas, sand, putting and driving range. Golfing is an Average challenge, very open for those who play "Military Golf". Ha ha. Good location from town. They treat you very well, the service is excellent. The dining room is first class, with a wonderful outdoor area looking over a water feature.

If golf scenery or good food are on your mind when visiting Kelowna BC, the Harvest Golf Club is not to be missed.
Situated through orchards and beautiful views of Lake Okanagan, the course is beautifully kept and suitable for all skill levels of golfer. Four tee positions will welcome all, making everyone comfortable with the challenges those position present. If one visits the course at the right time one can snack on tree fresh cherries (delicious), peaches nectarines, plums, apples, pears, and grapes with the encouragement of the welcoming gracious and Professional staff.
There is no need to drop your bag off at the door and park as the valet cart will more than likely be johnny on the spot as you get out of your car and drive you, your bag and equipment directly to the pro shop where the Proshop staff will introduce you to the club and facilities and make sure you know where the grill , bathrooms, snack shop and dining room and bar are located. Service and welcome don't get any better. I will add at this point that the staff do their best to insure a normal round will be roughly four to four and a quarter hours. Pretty good.

Being a member I frequently use the snack shack and the grill and dining room. I recommend all three. If I want a light snack there are no better muffins anywhere in Kelowna than at the Harvest Golf club. They alone make a trip there worthwhile. Ryan Brown, head hauncho for the food services is responsible with his chefs for providing outstanding roast beef dinners on Friday and I think Saturday evenings and with all the fixings. If that does not appeal there is a variety of other dishes that should more than titillate and whet your appetite. Wonderful way to end a golfing day in the Okanagan. And don't forget desserts tarts, squares, and a variety of choices should be kept in mind when ordering. Leave room!
All facilities are first class and suitable for
Casual get togethers, guy day out, girl's night out or lunch, casual informal office golf or get together. If this sounds too good to be true, I reassure you it sounds like a dream, but it is real. Check me out check out the harvest!

Final last thought. In describing the course and club as a place where no stone is left unturned in insuring your satisfaction, even the ample parking lot has oversized spaces to in sure as much as possible, easy in easy out and without door dings and body squeeze when putting on shoes at the car. Enjoy your golf day.

The Harvest Golf Club restaurant use to be one of our favourite places to have lunch and a Prime Rib dinner. Unfortunately not so anymore and based on a lot of reviews we are apparently in the minority so I guess it's just our bad luck. There were four in our party and three of us ordered the Prime Rib Dinner which is available every Friday and Saturday night. The forth member of our party had the Fish & Chips. Two of us started with the soup which was a red pepper soup and although it wasn't hot it still tasted good. When the Prime Rib arrived it looked good until we cut into it. It was tough and fatty. The potatoes were lumpy and compared to the last time we had Prime Rib here it was tastless. Our forth guest had the Cod Fish & Chips and apparently it was mostly batter and very little fish. I mentioned to our server that the Prime Rib was very tough and fatty and I asked her if she had any other complains which she said she didn't. That can't be true or maybe no one wanted to say anything. She offered all of us a complementary desserts. I ordered the Cheese Cake and my wife order the Ice Cream with Carmel sauce and sponge cake. Cheese cake is one of my favourite desserts and this was not Cheese Cake. It came in a little round dish and I can't really describe what it taste like but it wasn't anything like the Cheese Cake I've had elsewhere many times. My wife's Ice Cream dish was mostly sponge cake with very, very little ice cream or Carmel sauce. The last two lunches we had were also very bad so unfortunately one of our "favourite" places to eat is no longer. Will we be back? Not a chance. What a shame.
