The check in clerk, Julia, assigned us a great room. We were in 1614, which is right between a fire door and a housekeeping closet away from the elevators, so we had minimal noise from inside the hotel and didn't have to worry about our toddler's tantrums annoying anyone but us. It was nice having a little kitchenette for breakfast and we appreciated that even the double bed suite had a separate bedroom (which wasn't clear from the pictures) so we could put our daughter down to sleep and still enjoy a glass of wine in the living area. The location was convenient to good restaurants and a ferry dock, as well as the main highway in and out of town.
We appreciated having the pool/hot tub for early morning swimming, but the facilities are a little outdated. I'm not sure whether there's a fire station nearby, but we heard sirens at all hours. It didn't keep our daughter awake and isn't the property's fault, but it made sleeping more difficult for the grown ups.More
