My meal was sublime. The house salad of water cress, arugula and young greens was complimented by slivers of fresh pear and morsels of blue cheese. I ordered gnocchi with shrimp in a tomato sauce, and savored each perfect little pillow, marveling at the Chef’s expertise in taking a relatively simple dish and raising it to such a level of perfection. My companion’s scaloppini with mushrooms was equally superb. We shared a tiramisu, savoring every divine morsel. The service was delightful as well as being impeccable. There was a small mix-up with the reservation and the Owner/Chef called that morning to apologize and assure me that we were expected at the appointed time. This was a memorable meal.
