Absolutely brilliant place for breakfast. Very friendly staff and a great selection on the menu, especially for vegetarians. A little on the expensive side but still worth a visit

5/15/22; we stopped in for breakfast at 9:00 Am and the place was busy an we were also told that this is a great place for breakfast and they were correct. Wife got the omelet and I got PK Hash both excellent and plenty to eat. Coffee is good too and the servers hussled.

I am giving this unfussy casual dining restaurant overlooking Vancouver Harbour 5 stars for these reasons:
it's nice to be able to eat outside in the sunshine (and watch the seaplanes come in and out) although we chose to eat in. They do the simple things well and the food is well presented and well priced. We arrived as it opened at 8am. So did a number of others. Coffee and tea was out onto the tables with minimum delay. The food was well prepared, hot and minimum delay.
But the star of the show was our server Supitcha who had a smile on her face from start to finish and was quite charming. Checking up on her tables, spotting where refills were needed and a total breath of fresh air. Kudos to her and kudos to De Dutch for hiring people like her.

Not too many Dutch restaurants around so had to investigate. We were seated quickly for brunch at a window overlooking the harbour where seaplanes were landing. We split an order of croquettes which were good. I had the Dutch pancakes with apple, onions and bacon. Wife had the Amsterdam eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce. Service was excellent and everything was very good, including the coffee.
