I was so looking forward to this meal and it was -- just okay. The setting was great! We had a breakfast reservation and were seated at a nice outdoor table at our request. It took a long time to have someone come to take our order and when they did arrive, they did not seem to understand the menu very well. The menu is confusing, so staff knowing it would be very helpful. Our server was very kind and willing to check on things for us.
We ended up splitting the hash and eggs and one of the pancakes -- gluten free, to accommodate my companion. I do appreciate how helpful the restaurant is at taking dietary restrictions into account. The coffee that we ordered, just the plain drip, was excellent -- and I am very particular about my coffee.
The hash was good, and the eggs were poached as requested. The pancake was ok -- but not stellar. I make many gluten free things for various family members and friends, and have to admit that mine are better.
Overall, this is a solid choice for breakfast, but not spectacular. That said, the view, if you are able to grab a table outside watching the seaplanes take off, is worth a great deal!
