We stayed at Summit Lodge from the 5th- 15 March and have had an amazing time!
There was a slight mix up with our room reservation on arrival, however the team here did everything they could to help resolve this (Nicola from reception and the manager Katheryn were fab in sorting this) and gave us a few extra perks during our stay for this error which was a lovely treat.
We stayed in a queen, mountain view room and it was brilliant. Certainly big enough for the two of us. We really liked that there is a sofa you can sit on so your not having to sit on the bed all the time, makes the rooms more home-like. The housekeeping were fantastic (came daily) and left us notes here and there asking if we needed anything extra. The room was very clean and modern. We didn’t use the kitchenette in the room, but it had cutlery/ pans/ crockery/ fridge - everything you would need to cook and clean up with.
The hotel is only about a 10 minute walk to the gondola/ski slopes and 5 minutes to the main shops/ restaurants. Summit Lodge also offer a free and very reliable shuttle to and from gondola. They also have ski storage in the hotel.

We used the laundry facilities on level 2 during our stay- machines very quick, about 30 minutes for the washing machine and tumble dryers, which is great as you don’t have to hang around too long.
We ate breakfasts most morning in the restaurant attached to the hotel (EightyOne)... its great for more vegetarian options (smoothies/ fresh fruit etc) and is a lot quieter than the other attached restaurant, as you can get a grab and go breakfast. The staff (Marco and Joanna) have been so attentive and friendly, couldn’t fault the service they provided.
Great atmosphere, great location and great staff. A brilliant hotel! Would definitely come back here again.More
