We did not have a reservation when we showed up one sunday in early june but we were politely seated anyhow.
Everything we had was delicious.
Unfortunately they only have drip coffee so that was a tad disappointing.

We had breakfast at Blue in Water this morning. The restaurant is beautifully and tastefully decorated, service is friendly. Food was average and overpriced for what it is. It took a long time for us to be served. I wouldn’t recommend taking kids to this restaurant. Definitely more for adults and better value for money at suppertime

We stayed overtop this Restaurant in the Blue On Water hotel. The dining room is bright and spacious with either booths or tables. Service was top notch - and very friendly. We had two breakfasts, one brunch and one dinner here - the food was hot, tasty and plentiful. You need a reservation for brunch. We had a birthday party catered here; the lobster ravioli, chicken breasts/thighs and steak were delicious as were the salads and mini potatoes.

With a lot of different lagers and ales on tap and a open space for a relaxed pub-like lunch, we spent a few hours here. We had heard about their lobster sandwich which we had and would have again tomorrow! YUMMY! Do ask about it as we didn't initially see it on the menu. Hockey was on the TV and free wifi was available. What made this an even more enjoyable experience was the EXCELLENT service from one of the female staff (who seemed to be doing everything with ease and a happy attitude).
One surprise- the ladies bathrooms - check them out for yourself.

First time in St John’s and seeking a place for a decent dinner- us being six colleagues tired after long transatlantic travel- we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, all of us had delicious meals (we had cod, halibut, burgers and duck). Those who had desserts were very silent while eating it, enjoying every molecule :) We felt we had been very lucky to walk into this restaurant doing no research beforehand.
