We only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed a few more! We were greeted so warmly at reception, and given information on the town and a few tips regarding the Cabot Trail.

Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything a person could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We loved the solid surface flooring!

We used the laundry facility at the back of the hotel which was very clean and very reasonably priced.

Breakfast in the morning was delightful. The owners, Rick and Linda, provided a lovely breakfast, including homemade blueberry scones and fresh fruit. Chatting with them while taking in the lovely view from the picture window made you feel like you were visiting with old friends over the kitchen table.

All in all, an absolutely delightful visit. Five stars!

The Evergreen Inn is a Motel. It was spotlessly clean, warm and had every facility to make our stay enjoyable and worry free. The lady in Reception was care and kindness itself and the inclusive breakfast was perfect. It was one of our most memorable stays during our month-long tour of The Maritimes islands.
This motel has five stars plus from us for service, rooms and location.

We arrived very late due to a concert on Cape Breton -- key literally left in the mailbox. Charming, well-appointed room and bathroom that felt like someone's nice home. Wish we could have stayed for breakfast, but we had an early bus to catch to the Halifax Airport. They were just lovely on the phone when I called for reservations

Room Tip: I think they are all the same.

Only stayed for one night but it would be a great place to stay for several when visiting the antigonish area. The room had a kitchenette and a wonderful breakfast was included! The staff was extremely friendly and the room was very clean and comfy.

...that could compete with higher priced accommodations. Everything about the accommodations was pleasant. The receptionist couldn’t do enough for us. The room was immaculate, roomy and well equipped with a kitchenette. We had been able to tell the time of our arrival and the room temp was comfortably adjusted prior to our arrival . Breakfast dining room was as cozy as the whole motel. Our only disappointment was that our room was available for one night. However, the receptionist took the initiative and found us accommodations for the second night. All and all, this will be our “go to” place should we return to the area. A true gem.
