This was my first time here but my husband's 3rd or 4th. He travels for work and I tagged along this time. Overall a very good Residence Inn to spend 3 nights in. Bed was comfortable, breakfast had a nice selection of hot and cold items, laundry room was kept nice and clean, underground parking was convenient & secure, location was quiet and close to town.

My only concerns are that there is no safe in the room and that the room was a bit dusty when we first checked in. Clean but dusty. Housekeeping took care of the dust when they came in to tidy up the next day.

Dear nnl,

Thank you for the fantastic review! We are glad that you were able to join your husband during his stay. We have a great team at the Residence Inn by Marriott Kingston Water's Edge and we take pride in providing a memorable experience for all of our guests. We do not have safes in each guestroom. However, during your next stay, should you require a place to secure your belongings, we do have safety lock boxes located behind the front desk. All of our front desk staff would be happy to get you setup with one.

We look forward to welcoming you back on your next trip to Kingston.

My stay at the Residence Inn during September was flawless. The room faced lake front which made for spectacular sunrises each morning as the weather was also picture perfect. One note on the lakefront rooms - this is NOT the room for you if you want to sleep in which is not my case. The location of the hotel lends itself well to those who fully want to appreciate the port and downtown area of Kingston.

The linens at the Rsidence Inn are first rate and the office space and lounging area in the room are much appreciated. Having a kitchenette is a bonus as I will often eat in and can keep food and drinks in the refrigerator.

Room Tip: I try to book Lakeview or Lakefront as much as possible given that I am an early riser.

Great place for extended stays, comforts of home even in a Junior Suite. Great value for room and complimentory offerings, complete breakfast and early evening meal. Definitely would stay again, walking to all downtown.

Just spent one day in Kingston, but the hotel was very nice. The staff was great and our room had a great view of the water. Being down town was also a plus. Breakfast was very good. There are several good restaurants within a few blocks of th hotel.

Room Tip: We were on the top floor looking out at the St. Lawrence River.

My husband and I stayed at the Residence Inn, and loved it. The location was absolutely perfect for anyone wanting to be close to Kingston's beautiful waterfront. It is close to all the best restaurants, shopping, as well as being a stone throw away from Queen's University and the hospitals. I am originally from Kingston so I know the downtown well. This is a great place to stay for singles or family. We will definitely be back!!
