Surprisingly good pricing through a travel search engine. We booked a riverview room with king bed. We were hunting for a bargain and found it here. When we arrived it was late (nearly 9:00 PM) so the lobby was basically vacant. The bellman directed us to the desk and check in was a breeze. "Would you like an upgrade" are usually good words. so we did. For an additional twenty per night we got moved to a high floor, jacuzzi and fireplace and an absolutely perfect view room. He offered a second upgrade to Presidential but we declined. All in good marketing fun, I believe. So we learned that Valentine's day is a pretty slow time for them.
The room was very, very nice. Seating was arranged to observe the falls, the hot tub was double-wide and nearly spotless and the bed was comfortable for us. Nice touches included a small louver you could open below the window in order to let the sound of the falls in (as well as traffic) and the tv that articulared so you could soak in the tub watching Turner Classics. The only letdown was that the 'fireplace' is an electric insert and not a cozy gas one.
We did not try room service due to pricing. The staff respected the Do Not Disturb sign but did make the room up shortly after we left for lunch. We did not touch the seven dollar bottles of water. Bathroom was nice and clean, but we would've liked more towels given the tub is there to be used.
Since it was apparently 'off season' the hotel was quiet and we would've had the pool and workout areas to ourselves. We felt we got a good deal for our getaway and would recommend the hotel.

Had a Fab time ! Beautiful view !, We booked a package deal ! No wait @ check-in or check-out.. Dinner was fantastic ( ordered med rare steak, it came out mooing, very Rare), only complaint . Breakfast was great, slight wait to be seated.. not bad..
Only thing I would say was the room was dated, the sliding doors off the bathtub a little cheesy, bed was comfy, pillows kinda of sucked.. but very clean and great service !

Spent New Years eve at the Marriott and loved it. It was a once in a lifetime experience. There is no way i would spend that much money for a one night stay again. The view was incredible we could see the midnight fireworks from the Canadian side and then from the American side as well. We went to "My Cousin Vinny's" for dinner lot cheaper than the hotel.
Staff was friendly and helpful and my car was ready 10 mins after i called to have it brought around.

I should have been surprised when the hotel clerk asked if I was afraid of heights. He handed me the key and said"Enjoy the top floor"! Imagine my surprise when I opened the door to the most spectacular view of the Falls! The whole end wall was window overlooking the falls. Besides this incredible view the room was nicely appointed with fireplace,2 queen beds, comfy chairs ( for relaxing and enjoying the scenery). The beds were very comfortable and staff were friendly and eager to please. The valet people were especially patient as we had 2 cars ( having parked one previously with all our stuff) We had to go back to the car which was parked off site to retrieve our belongings. Casino is in close proximity and all in all wonderful treat to ourselves! I will definitely go back!

Room Tip: Ask for the best view of the falls. You pay a little more but it is well worth it.

We went on a spur of the moment to the Falls and booked a room at the Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa (be careful - there are actually 2 Marriott Fallsviews - you want the Hotel & spa).

It's a great place with all the standard Marriott fare with the exceptionally added feature of overlooking one of the world's greatest natural wonders. You can look at the Falls for hours from your room - just beautiful!!!

In addition, you're within easy walking distance of the falls, the downtown area, and the casino. If you're staying in the falls - this is the place to stay!

Room Tip: Get the jacuzzi tub but pass on the electric fireplace.
