The falls are absolutely stunning. Great for picture taking and breathtaking to look at. At night the falls are lit up and are also very pretty.

In my opinion the best feel for the Falls is about six in the morning, any season, warm coffee in hand. You might have a half a dozen people out there, compared to hundreds a few hours later indulging in selfies. I live in NF. This is when I enjoy the Falls, unadulterated. Wake up early and they are yours alone to enjoy, it is worth it!! That is why you are here, not for the crowds.

We recently visited Iceland and saw some amazing views and waterfalls but compared to this they look like someone has left the tap on. Plenty of places to see the falls with loads of photo opportunities. Some idiots decided to try and get a better photo by jumping the barriers but for a metre or 2 not worth the risk of falling. The night time they have a light show which was good but to fully see the falls you have to see in the daytime.

The fall are beautiful! We went in March 2018 and all the side walks say not in service during the winter but they were clear of now. We stayed on the main strip. I recommend going to see the falls before 10am. After that it’s just crowds. We paid for the creation of the falls that was dumb and then behind the falls which was crowded and really not worth it. If u are claustrophobic avoid both of those.
Basically we loved the falls but there really is not a lot to do in the winter unless u like casinos which we don’t.

The Canadian side absolutely provides a breathtaking view of the falls! We loved how the lights reflected off and lit up the water.
