I knew I would have to lower my expectations coming here having just spent a night at Marriott on the Falls. I did this and was still quite disappointed. I will say that the room was acceptably clean (just) and the bed comfortable. The hotel is also in an excellent location - very easy walk to Clifton Hill and a lot of the town. The WiFi was also good.

Unfortunately the hotel does not appear to be adequately maintained. The information folder in our room was dated 2013. The pot for the coffee maker had mould in it - utterly revolting. The pillows were small and lumpy. The heater in our room didn't work - a less than ideal situation during a Canadian winter. The staff didn't seem all that interested in being there - the guy that checked us out was quite friendly but the girl that checked us in was super blase. The place was practically empty and she made a big deal out of the fact we were getting an "upgrade" - to a room with two queen beds instead of one. Half the cable channels didn't work. Two of the towels in the bathroom reeked of chlorine, as though someone had used them in the pool area and brought them back to the room.

Doubt we would stay again, even with the low rate paid.

Hotel is in a great location, the room was spacious, clean. and so comfortable. We only stayed one night but will definitely stay again when we visit Niagara Falls!!
The staff is very helpful and friendly. This hotel offers excellent value.
This hotel offered so much more than we expected, based on the cost of the room.

Room Tip: Ask for a King Suite with Jacuzzi Tub
