Had an enjoyable stay at this resort. We went out for dinner off-site, came back for the Carnival show which we found entertaining enough. Hit the casino afterwards - the cocktails were inconsistent and hit or miss depending on who was making it. The casino itself is a fun and lively spot, comfortable and washrooms are kept very clean.
ROOM: our room was lovely - we got a high floor with a direct view of the falls which is quite a sight. Super clean everything, comfy bed with quality linens, nice bathroom with separate tub and shower. Did not see any robes or slippers. There is an in-room safe though.
FOOD: This is where we were disappointed. Ordered a burger and fries (room service) - burger had a strange texture and was overcooked so very dry. The fries were way too salty. We also partook of the Sunday brunch at the Grand Buffet. The cost is $25 for members and a bit more for non-members. Fine for an all you can eat buffet but the food was really lacking and I would not eat here again. Can't say if it is better for dinner but the brunch was definitely not worth it.
OVERALL: location, room, service, view and entertainment receive top marks but the food could be greatly improved upon.More
