An amazing afternoon with treats, tea & cider. Beautiful setting & exceptional service! They also offer a choice of white/red wines, beer AND we happened to be there during the season for cider. My husband had the cider and he loved it!

Wonderful tea room, where you can have high tea, as well as cream tea, sandwiches, soup, cheese and fruit platter. Servers dressed in period costumes. Very nice service in a glassed in air conditioned room, which overlooks McFarland park. Lovely little tea, and coffee accessories for purchase as well.

This place is a gem with an aesthetic that couldn't be more quaint. The young ladies that work there not only run tours of the historic house, but also host and serve diners and even prepare the food! Our server was kind enough to prepare a special vegan sandwich for my girlfriend and it was wonderfully delicious.

Love afternoon tea at this venue. The servers are in period costume which adds to the ambience. The sandwiches, scones and cakes are delicious and always fresh. Herbs are grown out in their garden. I enjoy their fresh mint steeped in hot water. You can sit in the sunroom and enjoy watching all the bikers and walkers on the path along the Niagara river. Not to be missed but be sure to have a reservation!

What a wonderful place to visit with a loved one in a beautiful setting and with delicious menu items. The ambiance was most relaxing and we were encouraged to take our time as we savoured the food and each other's company! The service was impeccable. We probably had the best meal of our stay in NOTL - recognising that it was an afternoon tea and not a gluttonfest. Our server was a very personable, helpful young lady. We will no doubt return to McFarland House again - and next time take the tour. Thank you, all!
