Stopped in this weekend for our first visit with the people at Nita Brew. Our first experience with this Ottawa Brewery was this summer at the Cornwall Summer Beer Festival. We met some of the staff, and tried a few of their signature brews. We found ourselves in Ottawa this weekend and thought it would be great to bring home some growlers. It's very easy to get to, even if you're not familiar with the area. Nice little storefront with several items for sale. Also a nice little seating area for those who have the time to sit and enjoy a beer or two. Their sampling bar is small but sufficient. The staff was well versed, obviously knew what he was talking about. We walked away with two growlers of Mr Brown has gone coconuts, and Luda. Great job guys, can't wait for our next visit.

Nita Beer Company has a team of owners dedicated to innovative tastes for lovers of craft beers! Andy, the brewer is not afraid to experience with different tastes for all beer drinkers. Their 10 12, a blonde ale with a smooth and great taste. The OPA IPA is exception with higher IBUs (bitterness) than any other brewer in town...for us bitter IPA tastes! The unfiltered version is personally my favorite! They also have a comparable "Pucker" that has its own unique taste as a filtered beer with exceptionale taste and bitterness!

Most recent is their trifecta of stouts! Perfectum is the original..very smooth and tasty! Then you have the Perfectum flavoured stouts...with either cinnamon spices or licorice flavour, be wary though, the licorice initially provides a cool raspberry flavouring!

You will NOT be disappointed with this brewery and their group of dedicated beer lovers!
