Needing some entertainment on a winter afternoon, we decided to visit Stones 'n Bones museum on Christina Street in Sarnia. I had heard that it featured an impressive collection, but was honestly blown away by the huge variety of exhibits, and the quality of the specimens and the displays. Fabulous taxidermy work, fossils and minerals, butterflies and insects....far too many items to take in on one visit. Our adult son and grandchildren were more than entertained for the two hours we spent there, and I am certain this will become a favourite place to visit a few times a year in the future. The owner gave us a personal tour, keeping it very interesting and quite humorous at the same time. I can only wonder why it took us so long to finally visit this gem, and would give it my highest recommendation.

We visited Stones & Bones last year, for the first time, and purchased the Grandparents Membership ... so now we can visit with our grandchildren, whenever we like for a full year! This has to be one of the best bargains, anywhere, ever!

This was a very unique museum, definitely a must see when in the area. Much better than we expected as the location is not great and the building unimpressive from the outside. However once inside it opens up to a world of interesting things. We had to set ourselves a time limit as there is so much to see. Beautiful displays of the animals, bring them almost to life. We were three seniors ladies and had a tour by the owner, unfortunately his occasional crude comments that made us wish he would leave us to go around on our own.
