It should have been a clue that this restaurant was not a good choice since it had hardly any customers on a Friday evening. Although the food was quite good, it was not outstanding and the portions were small. There were not many vegetables served with a fish dish. For a menu that appears to advertise fresh seasonal food, there were hardly any vegetables! Also, the server says, " Can I get you some bread for the table?" Of course everyone says, " Yes". Then when the bill comes, there is a charge of $0.45 per slice! That was ridiculous and should be embarrassing for the server! Why would a very expensive restaurant charge for bread per slice ?

The prices are very very high for what you get and charging for bread is ridiculous!

We took advantage of the Summerlicious Menu and enjoyed a whole wonderful variety of offerings. The Crispy Duck Salad was definitely a highlight. Between our four diners we had a pasta with Ragu, steak and Atlantic Char. All really great! We added an order of Onion Rings. Do not DO NOT miss trying that special side sprinkled with chili lime seasoning and perfectly battered and crisped. Amazing flavor. Could have made that my dinner! Dessert was an Ontario Strawberry Trifle. The cheese plate was wonderful - three delicious rich cheeses with crostini, honey and pureed pear. All enjoyed with a nice bottle of Ontario red wine. Good coffee to end. I just checked the menu on-line and the onion rings may have been only available for Summerlicious. Too bad. Hopefully, they'll bring them back again!

Overpriced. Pretentious. Small portions. Inexperienced and inattentive staff... need I go on? Such ridiculous attempt to look 'chic' by charging for the bread!! Really??!! At those prices the bread should have been made from unicorn tears! For a Saturday night, we could not believe how empty the place was! Think they've bitten off more than they can chew with such a huge restaurant space. Beautiful summer evening and the place was maybe serving 6 or 8 tables, yet room for dozens more. Toronto has way too many incredible restaurants with impeccable service.
Don't waste your time on this place.

had a great meal at summerlicious. Great tuna and tomato appetizers and great fish and pasta main courses. The service was attentive. Would come back for regular menu.
