This place is an excellent place to have tastes of what Toronto has to offer from tea to fresh fish dishes and peameal bacon rolls. Definitely worth a visit, if you can I would go on a week day as Saturday is manic and can't look at stalls and things properly

Come to St Lawrence market. Great to cone in the morning to take advantage of the baked goods...hot and fresh. Anything after noon will be gone or earlier.

Get your lunch on at any of the sandwich places.

What a fantastic array of food and souvenirs. Save $10 on a $12 mug. Yup, $10 more at other locations. And always have to have that Back Bacon sandwich!!!

If you want to find real Torontonions on a Saturday - look no further. But make sure you go feeling hungry. Terrific food market in the historic district selling a mix of ready to eat and take home to cook food. Great old building in the vibrant historic district. Loved it. Careful to check its variable opening hours though snd be aware it feels quite different on a week day when it has less if a festival feel.

Well established market catering to all foodies with a need for cuisine. Try to get to the market early in the morning to beat the crowds. Weekends offer a unique experience to a local flea market adjacent which has many vendors and countless items to pick though
