Le Germain Maple Leaf Garden Hotel is part of a privately owned chain that includes two hotels in Toronto plus Montreal, Calgary, Quebec etc. Breakfast and WiFi included. Located across the street from Union Station and the Air Canada Center (home to the Maple Leaf hockey team and the Raptors basketball team). Three blocks from the Rogers Center, home of the Blue Jays baseball team. Two blocks to the CN Tower. My flight on Porter Air landed at Billy Bishop Airport. One can walk from the airport to downtown Toronto in five minutes. There is a free shuttle bus to an area next to Union Station. Le Germain is across the street from Union Station. Tatiana Boulchyi is the concierge and was very helpful to me planning my visits. Great king size room on the top floor. I was trying to find the ice machine on my floor and one of the desk people came up to help me. He saw me (on video cameras) wandering around the floor holding an empty ice bucket. Right next door to the hotel is a giant supermarket. I bought my dinner there one night for under $10.

Room Tip: The hotel is only 8 stories. Window insulation keeps out the noise.

I fregrently stay at Le Germain for business. The exceptional staff always makes me feel special. On my last stay this week, I was greeted with a gift for my new granddaughter, Finley, born just last week. The staff gave Finley a set of Le Germain glasses with the number "621" her birthdate as a gift. They said they wanted Finley to be introduced to the Le Germain experience as soon as she can drink from a glass. They even knew her name! Now that is how you create a great Customer Experience! Thank You

Leafs for Bluejays fan? This hotel is for you. I've stayed there three times and have often seen the crowds heading to various games. Rooms are large, quiet and modern-just be sure to have hotel staff explain to you how the lights and shower controls work.. (They're a bit different from other hotels.) I applaud the hotel for providing shampoo and conditioner in large bottles attached to the shower walls-more eco-friendly and less wasteful. Breakfast is fine, staff pleasant and professional.

A Luango's grocery store is just below the hotel, which makes it convenient to pick up extras and snacks without going outside. Other downtown attractions are close by and Union Station is within walking distance.

Room Tip: Rooms seem consistently good.

I like the vibe at this "boutique-like" hotel. It's modern and functional with roomy feel and cool rooms. Good service, with breakfast included in rate. Great place to stay if you have business downtown or are coming to watch the Leafs play.

Only downside is that my view was straight into an office building next door. Insist on not getting this when you check in.

I've stayed at Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square about 3-4 times now. It's a great hotel close to everything downtown.

The breakfast selection is great and changes daily, the fitness studio is better than most hotels have.

Room Tip: Stay away from the 8th floor (condos above) and the fitness studio is on the 4th floor.
