On our first night in Toronto we walked from the CN Tower all the way to the distillery district and my oh my was it worth it.

Easy to spot from a distance the distillery district is surrounded by red brick buildings. There are loads of cool little bars, shops and restaurants.

But the restaurant that smelt and sounded the best was by far this one!

Best to visit in dry warm weather so that you can sit outside to enjoy all the smells of the dishes and the atmosphere.

The food was delicious with our favourite - guacamole - made right in front of us. Don't chicken out like us though they have crickets on the menu for the guacamole we regret not trying that!

If you're in that part of town you won't have wasted your evening here.

My mother and I went in after a walk around the Distillery District. The design of the restaurant is just fantastic! Full of lively colors and lights contradicting another huge wall full of a variety of tequila and mezcal. We sat at the bar and had a couple of mezcal cocktail drinks which were amazing. After that we did order some appetizers (the croquettes and the ceviche). The portions were very small and it didn't redeem itself with the taste, so we found it expensive for what they were. However, based of the smell of the other food passing by, we might have ordered the wrong plate. Service was fantastic! Must at least pass by to have a drink if you are in the area.

Authentic Mexican food and decor, with great service from knowledgeable and friendly staff. Huge selection of tequila and mescal, very varied and creative menu. Highly recommend.

I bring my friend for her birthday and she liked it.
We did enjoy our time.
But the service was a bit slow at the beginning. Indeed, it wasn't so busy.

The restaurant has a nice decoration and the food is good.
The price is a bit pricy though.

I recommend this place for having a good time.
