Owner description: The Distillery District is an internationally acclaimed village of brick-lined streets and dozens of vibrantly restored Victorian Industrial buildings. It’s one of Ontario’s hottest tourist attractions and home to live theatres, galleries, fashion, design and jewelry boutiques, unique cafes and award-winning restaurants. It’s all completely closed to traffic and just a few minutes walk from downtown Toronto.

I really love coming here. As a photographer there are lots of interesting and photogenic spots to take photos, A lot of history behind the location too, so worth looking up and reading about it. Amazing chocolate at Soma, the Mayan hot chocolate warms up your chilly bones on a winter day. :-)

Came here one afternoon to have a look round, I thought that it would be more then it was, it's has shops, but everything is expensive or over priced, nothing that you would want to buy in a daily basis.

It is quite a way from the city centre so if you are going to go there would say to drive it take a tram

Pretty buildings and great photo
Opportunities but this is a place that would hum June to September. Pretty under activated outside in winter so it is really a collection of expensive shops and cafes.

It was my first time to the Distillery District and I really enjoyed it. Lovely to walk around going in and out of quaint shops. Many unique items to purchase. Bakery's and many cafes to enjoy as well as the Mill Street Bewery.

I have lived in Toronto for my whole life and the Distillery District has always been my favourite spot in the city! The distillery has a very chill and modern vibe - perfect for exploring alone as well as for outings with friends and family! The numerous stores and restaurants there make it perfect for an afternoon or evening trip as well.

The distillery is especially beautiful during winter time - when they host a Christmas market for the holidays!

Highly recommend this spot for Toronto visitors as well as for those who live in the six themselves.
