“higher education in style”
Reviewed 25 March 2012

The downtown campus consists of many faculties and colleges, built in different styles since the 19th century. University College is outstanding and unusual in Norman style. Hart House with tower is a lively centre of student life with tremendous great hall reminiscent of Oxford and Cambridge.

“Definitely worth a visit”
Reviewed 16 March 2012

The University of Toronto's main campus is spread over a very wide area (approximately 3/4 of a mile from north to south and about the same from east to west (including colleges on the east side of Queen's Park to just west of St.George Street) Visitors should be aware that it is based on the English system, meaning it has professional faculties as well as affiliated colleges. To make the most of your time I would suggest visiting one or more of the colleges to take in their unique atmospheres. At the same time, as a casual visitor you may want visit a professional faculty to discover what it has to offer. In the summer there are conducted tours.
