If you have ever been to a Mandarin Buffet location, you already know pretty much what to expect at this restaurant. A dozen hot dishes, including roast chicken, sweet and sour pork, spicy chicken and vegetable, bbq sliced pork and/or ribs, fried chicken wings, beef with broccoli, carved corned beef, fried shrimp, perl and eat shrimp, chicken curry, extensive salad bar, sushi bar, two soups, grilled steak and chicken, potsticker dumplings, sushi bar, big dessert section and a dozen flavours of ice cream and sherbet.
I have been dining here regularly for years, and the hosts/hostesses and servers treat me as if I were family or an old friend. The service is always friendly and efficient, with plates cleared very promptly and beverages refilled frequently.
The weekday lunch is the best deal, with almost as extensive selection as dinners (minus things like crab legs or prime rib), but somewhat less expensive. The current base price for weekday lunch is $16.95, plus tax and tip, and for the food quality and selection and quality of service, I think it is hard to beat that. Weekend prices are higher, but also feature premium food additions. I have never failed to enjoy my meals here, and always get good value for the price.
