“Excellent location and comfortable accommodations”
Reviewed 14 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

The location in Bloor West Village is in a very walkable community with coffee, tea, and church close by, within 5 minutes walking distance. The accommodations are roomy and comfortable. One of the bedrooms could use a new mattress though!

“Superb Accomodation and very welcoming hosts.”
Reviewed 12 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We had a brilliant stay in Durie St in the heart of Bloor West Village. What a fantastic location! Mila and Michel were extremely welcoming and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay with them an excellent experience. I cannot fault the quality of the facilities with everything provided to meet our needs. I would highly recommend the rental property, the location and the hosts. I definitely will book again in the future.

“Exceeded Expectations”
Reviewed 23 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

This is a spectacular apartment in an amazing neighborhood with unique shops, cafes. bakeries, great restaurants, fruit and meat markets, and everything you want in short walking distance. High Park is close by and so beautiful, everyone should make a point to take a stroll in this gorgeous spot, and don't forget to plan for breakfast in this small forest, and catch Shakespear in the Park during the summer.

During the evenings, we enjoyed great meals in the some of many restaurants and sports bars nearby. The subway is only a few minutes away and dropped us off downtown and the Toronto Theater District: Broadway Shows, Musicals, Plays, and Concerts. WOW! what an amazing trip!

Thanks to Mila and Michel for providing such wonderful accommodations, and the many special touches that made it so convenient and our home away from home.

Can't wait to come back!

“Spacious and comfortable apartment in a lovely quiet neighbourhood”
Reviewed 15 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We stayed here with our adult son whilst visiting our other son who is studying at Toronto university for a year and it made a perfect base for us
Really enjoyed a walk around High Park in the winter sun and a visit to the CN tower
Tube is close by and there is easy access to the airport
The apartment was clean and the beds and settees were comfy
Thank you for a short but sweet stay

“Lovely home near great street of shops, lakeshore and gorgeous High Park”
Reviewed 25 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Stayed in the first floor unit of this neat little home. Everything updated and kept in perfect order, and very clean. We had everything we needed. Beautiful kitchen and appliances. Comfy leather couches in living room, although we didn't spend a lot of time indoors. The auto-sensor lighting around the property worked wonderfully, as we were out in the evenings. Very nice pubs, restaurants and shops less than 2 blocks away at Bloor Street, including subway station. Very nice walking by the homes and gardens on the way. We felt secure letting our daughter and friend (20 yrs) go out later at night (pub and the movie theatre down Bloor). I set out running in the mornings for High Park and wow - what a beautiful place to have so near the house. Late on our first night we drove down to the lakeshore park and were pleased to see people strolling the beachside walk. We found Lakeshore Drive to often be a better option than Gardiner Xway to get into the city. Parking downtown was only a little more expensive than taking the subway. It was VERY busy in the city but we still got around OK. Recommend Kennedy's Pub and Simply Thai restaurants, and Hot Oven Bakery (Bloor), Canada's Wonderland, took the ferry to the islands (beach nothing special but lovely parks), Aquarium, little 'zoo' area of High Park, Distillery district for dinner...so much to take in on a long weekend. We loved Durie Street and Mila was terrific to work with! Thank you!
