I have met friends there a couple of times, and found the staff efficient and friendly, their craft beer quite good and affordable, and the food pretty good for pub food.

We (3) stopped in for a quick supper before going to the Corona next door for a wedding. Not expecting much from a pub as one person is diabetic (no carbs or sugary food please) and one vegetarian. The Bishop Special Bitter beer was excellent and Elize the waitress was very good and served us very efficiently as we didn't have too much time to eat dinner. She suggested the chicken salad for the diabetic item and it was very tasty without being overloaded with dressing or anything too sweet, the smoked herring was fabulous and it came with a tasty cole slaw which although a little sweet was very nice and not too vinegary. One member had ordered a hamburger platter but received a steak instead, rather than make us wait for a re-order on the burger, we were offered the steak for the price of the burger, very professional! as most places would take it back unless you paid the difference. (and the steak was very good!) Our vegetarian had the samosa appetiser and she said it was very nice too. The ambience is nice although too cold that evening to sit outside, there is that option during the summer. Will definitely come again in the summer!

As a Brit abroad, one of the things I miss the most is the Pub culture which is almost completely absent in North America, this pub however provides a nice compromise to someone looking for a London Pub.

As its a pub it is a tad noisy. Service is rather ok, and friendly. The brunches are very good value. Menu is a tad unseasonal, and could be changed up in summer a bit.

Seeing as we were seeing a show next door, we decided to try this pub for drinks and dinner.Sure glad we did, seeing as we were 2 parties of 16, we were seated upstairs. Plenty of room, music wasn't to loud, fast, friendly staff, good choice of beers. I tried the 1 beer that they brew themselves, was pretty good. I had the Angus Burger, excellent, great fries, my wife had the fish and chips, she couldn't finish her plate so I was able to try the fish with their tartar sauce, also very good. Nice decor. Will return for sure and would recommend
